Hello students, welcome back! This week we will be focusing on photosynthesis, the most important chemical process in plants. Throughout the week we will create a board game about photosynthesis and finish the week by playing all of the games. Remember to bring in a shoe box or cereal box to put your game in! I was impressed by the plant anatomy and physiology "check-ups" we did before break, very good job overall! Those grades will be entered next week when progressbook opens back up. Below are the photosynthesis slides for those who missed the lecture!

One more week until break!
Last week ended our first unit, Soil Science and the Scientific Method. Test scores will be uploaded this weekend. I was very happy with the scores on the exams as well as the participation in test corrections which should help boost scores even higher. We will be interacting with soil and the scientific method throughout the remainder of the course so it is good we have a solid foundation. We are now starting the plant science unit. Please be sure to dress appropriately as we will be outside often working with plants in the garden and greenhouse! |
